I agree with other posters. If you have a problem with Bugs then Alaska might be a better choice. Bugs is a part of life in Costa Rica and they’re half the fun…..:lol:

In the states we have a Schwab account and they reimbursed us for all of the ATM fees that we incurred.

WHAT??? Schwab reimburses you for ATM fees? Is that only for international? Or will they reimburse for fees that these domestic suck off banks charge? I too have a Schwab account but was not aware of the ATM fee reimbursement. Maybe I’m missing something. Thx.

Thanks for the update. You are correct. I contacted Facio and they responded with exactly what you referenced. In addition, my message was apparently forwarded to Mauricio and he also responded directly back to me.

I’ll stick with the firm and work with one of Mauricio’s colleagues there.

They use the older insulin which means I personally don’t have as good control as when I was on Lantus and humalog…. Now they give me NPHr and NPHn. “

Well….I recently placed several clients funds into short-term (1 to 2 year) Anadarko bonds at yields through 8% as well as longer-term Anadarko’s (2019) at 9.25%…..but you MUST have some tolerance for risk.
Last year we bought property in Uvita. Randall Sanchez represented the sellers. Our attorney, Mauricio Gonzalez Crespo, who was in Escazu and who was excellent disclosed at the start of the transaction that he was a friend of Randall Sanchez and that he was an excellent and trustworthy lawyer. Even though I did not have direct dealing with Mr. Sanchez, I can say our entire sales transaction went smoothy.
HAH!!! I was also going to suggest Mauricio. I nearly purchased a really nice property several years ago in Playa Ventanas and was referred to Mauricio at Facio Abogados. He is very knowledgeble, I had full confidence in him and he is originally from that area of Costa Rica (near Dominical) and knows it well.

Yes….BUT…As Government/Medicare continue to cut back their level of payments to doctors…in time…the better doctors…the better SPECIALISTs…that DON’T NEED Medicare patients if they’re no lonegr economically viable to the doctors economic goals will simply hang a sign on their window “We Do Not Accept Medicare Patients”. Then that doctor whom you really liked and may have been seeing for years may no longer be able to see you and you’ll wind up having to find another doctor that does accept Medicare (In many cases a doctor from a Third World country) as the really good and really successful doctors will adapt their businesses so they get paid what they think they’re really worth NOT what Uncle Sam thinks they’re worth. As BROKE is Medicare and Medicaid are I think that is the path we are headed towards.

Who do you suppose is running your health care today?
Who do I think is running my healthcare today? That’s very easy to answer: I AM! I get to choose my own doctors and I get to decide what procedures I want to have and when. I am just not looking forward to the day when Obamacare gets into full swing that having the option of choosing the specialists of my choice and deciding together with my doctor what procedures may be appropriat turns into an ordeal similar to going to your local DMV or Immigration office or Social Security office or ANY government bureaucratic agency as will likely and eventually be the case. Government should stick to it’s original intent which is to pave roads..maintain a strong military..and a couple other things…NOT trying to RUN A BUSINESS or Healthcare.

That’s “Government in Action”. And these are the people that will eventually be running YOUR Healthcare…..:evil:
