I am sorry you wont make the Christmas gathering. I make a mean eggnog ๐Ÿ™‚ and thank you for the spelling correction. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

seriously what 2bncr states is valid. at least someone has the huevos to state some valid points although somewhat delicate issues.

normally these types of conversations are left alone because everyone has their own opinion based on their own personal life experience, beliefs and how they view the world. so there is no reason to engage in this except for entertainment.

maravilla will keep enjoying her life here in paradise thinking what she is thinking. doing whatever it is that she does and as long as she is happy.. then good for her because its her life.

sprite god bless his soul will keep in his own little world spewing why men that love sex are perverts and the only reason to have sex is for procreation anything beyond that is a sickness. :(:(:(:(:(

and me????

I will keep enjoying the services of the beautiful ladies of costa rica.. aahhhh.. yes. ๐Ÿ˜‰

in fact sprite… you just inspired me to go get a massage at one of these quiant little massage places where the term Happy Endings really takes on a new meaning. ๐Ÿ˜‰

PS. Sprite… how rude.. but do you care to join me?..
there is this 26 year old tica chocolita from limon that will change the way you look at life guaranteed. you will be like Ebeneezer scrooge on christmas morning.

PPS. Sprite I used to have an accountant (greg) back in the states ( died of cancer 2006) that had the same thought processes. its actually strange since i almost began to think you were him ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

but I will never forget the first time I brought him down here back in 1996 man oh man.. it was the ricky martin livin la vida loca era.. he met up with a honey from columbia and she literally rocked his world. 8)8)

not long after he was diagnosed with colon cancer. and close to when he died I will never forget how grateful he was for that experience. it was a blast and here was a guy that basically lived his whole life in this conservative moral condescending way of life that this was a total life experience he never forgot.

peace mi amigo

I have to say you have a good way of expressing your point of view. and thank god as I don’t have the time nor the typing speed to sit and respond.

very well written and I have to concur

good job

sprite

I don’t know how old you are my friend but even though I can appreciate your opinion I have to say you have some sadness in your heart.

and I guess in your world your surroundings reflect your core beliefs. and if this makes you happy

good for you man8)

so i am also going to assume that you dissaprove masterbation :shock:

your comments sound like coming from someone who is somehow disabled or handicapped. someone who went thru a crisis for what ever reason and this is the outcome.

they can raise taxes, raise traffic tickets.. etc BUT
one of the greatest perks STILL of this lovely country are the women.. and the freedom of sexuality

god these women are indeed beautiful

and they all want to be sexy.. even the ones that dont have the body or or over weight or whatever .. they still try to look sexy.

and when its gets to the point when one gets older and the younger women are not attracted to us any longer

thank god for PROSTITUTION.. ๐Ÿ˜€

whew I said it.. so there.

and by the way

I don’t pay for sex

I pay for them to leave.

I hope there are still men here that do indeed love women and love sex.

scott

you if I seem to recall also has an affinity for lovely latinas.

i applaud your opinion even though I totally and absolutely disagree with you 100%.

Sex is normal and healthy in the the context of its purpose which is procreation and the keeping together of parents to raise their offspring.

this statement alone is priceless

I would hate to hear your views on masterbation ๐Ÿ˜€

you do masterbate sprite yes???? at least maybe a few times in your life ๐Ÿ™‚

my friend who is close to 65 is in great shape and still active sexually.. but his wife who had a stroke is wheel chair bound ( has been for almost 10 years) and is not interested in sex at all.. so he enjoys visits to these sex massage parlors and has a little fun and leaves.. is he a pervert??? is he a sick perverted man sprite???

ps. sprite please do not take this the wrong way but that attitude is what causes the majority of problems back in theU.S.

the United States of America has got to be the most sexually repressed society in the world.

super excellent!!! ๐Ÿ˜€

now thats good. your doing great and learning all the new skills like raising chickens and developing a garden. thats proactvive. I think the climate here is truly wonderful for this. I am working well I should say studying the plans of building a BIO Dome and grow vegetables and herbs to sustain a family of 4. right now i am looking into aquaponics. anyone have info on this???

the idea is preparing yourself to not be wholly or partially sustainable. plus this is great to teach your kids.

for the upcoming implosion that will be happening in the US. ..

there will be one thats for sure.. and if the hand of god comes and just fixes all of mans problems.. and nothing happens.. the at least you develop some good skills set.

how about some ideas of

how to make money morally and ethically while living in costa rica???

that would be a great topic.

regarding your experience with hospital san dios. congratulations as I have heard and experienced more incompetence there and dirt there than any hospital here.

that place reminds me of a scary movie and they even warn people staying there not not have any valuables with the because it will be robbed.

of all the public hospitals I think the ew one in heredia is good and 2nd would be calderon.

when I was referring as a doer that did not mean to compare premium members and non premium members.

your premium packages is really geared towards the newbie market. I myself live here in costa rica and i have successfully launched and operated businesses here. brick and mortar business. where I paid caja every month, aguinaldos, liquidations, vacations, impuetsos, patentes and corrupt city officials. I would not say large but small 22 employees to medium size 57.

I have personally experienced the dark underbelly of this country as well as the beauty. I have seen someone crash and roll over on as small bridge while raining and while lying there for help

and people stopping and seeing if they were all right and call for an ambulance and when they left the scene they stole her suitcases and laptop she had in the back.

the new kind of good Samaritan.

I have just experienced a family member death in the hands of san juan dios hospital. I personally believe they killed her.

no what I mean are people that are moving towards the realization of a worthy ideal. and document the journey so others can learn from the experience

a friend just finished building his very own chicken hilton chicken coop.. like a modern condo and has hens that lay 4 to 6 eggs per day. and he learned everything from youtube.. that is cool

and so on and so on.

thank you for replying mr oliver. after seeing that last picture of you in the british commando uniform.. I know you are a hombre not to be messed with ๐Ÿ˜€ kind of like chuck norris ๐Ÿ˜ฏ you are now dubbed the costa rican Chick Norris

you are correct when you say;

It is not inexpensive to live here, but it is definately less expensive to live here!”, especially when you add in the “back home” costs of real estate taxes, health insurance, etc.

for now… because incrementally this will also rise. and when you balance the higher costs of other items. electronics, appliances, traffic tickets. fuel… you will find that you will need to immerse yourself more and more or deeper and deeper into the tico culture regarding foods items and such.. and this is when you will find if you really like living here or not.

Truthfully.. one of the biggest questions I ask myself daily.. especially when I go to the malls and keep seeing expansions and the parking lots filled.. how do these people here survive???

good for you that will show you .. its better if you just stay in your penthouse and only come down to rent a movie lol

its truly silly these high ass fines. imagine the cash windfall. a few observations

1. where is all that money??? for a country that seems to be coming up with new tax laws i have to ask where is all this extra money ???? $600 cash.. thats a ton of money.

the first week when they decided again to change the traffic laws. the plate number restriction. how many times did they change this from peak hours to all day back to peak hours. a few weeks ago the week they changed the law again they made it all day I happen to go into san jose (otherwise known as the armpit of costa rica) and I got my very first costa rican ticket.

almost $100 for driving into san jose restricted. I said but its only 1pm and he replied no sir now its all day..

that week they issued alot of tickets and made alot of money… tax free.. on the back of its citizens.. the law breakers..

its really a joke to have these laws arbitrarily changed on a whim and one hand does not know what the other is doing

again where the heck is all this money??? no one ever talks about this.

these transit officers are now very powerful people on the streets and they have the power to inflict financial damage to individuals.

2. they will probably approve the flat tax on all S.A.s now some people my think its ok.. its a good investment for protection. hogwash I say. and these constant incremental increases and one day we will wake up and realize costa rica may be just to expensive to live.

3. costa rica still is the best place to be at this time because its 100 times worse back home. I tell you if Nicaragua had some good sense they could really leverage this since its really inexpensive to live there and food is cheaper than here.

4. in all my adult life I have never had more utilities, bills fines shut off on me than here as I am very diligent in making sure I pay all my bills. the burden falls on us to make sure we pay all bills instead of waiting for a bill I just autopay and say.. here just take the money for godsake.. so what they make errors and double charge me once in a while.

still I have this index that I follow and it like a graph that has different metrics.. cost of food, cost of gas – utilities – entertainment – water – etc.. and when the metrics get to the point where it doesn’t make sense to live here any more then its time to relocated

because.. getting up and leaving is the real ONLY freedom we as individuals have left.

pura vida amigos

its amazing now that anyone with a free email address and some anom proxys can be whoever they want to be and try and damage reputations by slander.

and they leave it upon ourselves to waste time and actually respond to these imbeciles. in cases I have experience these little events can easily escalate into big viral propaganda and actually cause harm to people reps. there is a business created from this called ”reputation management” which is part of what my firm offers.

companies pay me to monitor companies business online reputation so any info that is released can be addressed accordingly because one thing is certain in todays internet world

you have to address this right away. scott addressed this right away.. good for you. but many people choose to ignore these types of things because the general consensus is that its somehow beneath them and untrue so why bother.

that strategy does not work nowadays.

facebook, twitter, youtube.. its no wonder that anyone can actually take a crap without it being on twitter or facebook.

social media is a great tool and its the last bastion of freedom we have left but its also a responsibility like any useful tool.

good you laid this out to rest.

although I do NOT agree with alot of the things you say I respect the work done to provide this type of board with the quality of people that visit

you have definitively too much time on your hands. of course he makes a commission you idiot. how else would this site be paid for.

who are you exactly.. the person who is saving us from this man.

wow.. thanks.. I feel better.

looks like you have some sort of beef with the man and registered a cheap $2.00 .info domain then copied certain aspects of this site and hosted on a free hosting just to smear him.

oh I’m sorry even the http://www.therealscottoliver.info is fabricated. so you could not even register a $2.99 domain name.

this kind of shit really peeves me

If It were me I would charge a membership fee and keep the riff raff out.

carlitos.. like in carlitos way my nick name is Benny Blanco from the bronx LOL people I’m just Kiiiddding ๐Ÿ˜€

steve

Scott. the hosting site is http://galeon.hispavista.com/.. contact them and they will take this down.

I LOVE Cherries ๐Ÿ˜€ my favorite fruit

scott you say that now. but being in the speculative business of forecasting the future how long do you think it will be before costa rica begins it decent into the same path as the U.S. but worse since the level of corruption here is on a lower street level than the states.

think about it. the MOPT fines seem to have been deemed successful when comparing the perception of lower street vehicle type of infractions.

the next step is right out of U.S. recent history…

cameras installed everywhere and tickets will be issued automatically. so you get tickets via courier. once they gain momentum with this system and it proves to “profitable” ( oops… there is that ugly word) it will continue. I am hoping that costa rica will NOT be able to execute this properly.. but miracles do happen. ๐Ÿ˜€

whats next????.mmmm can anyone else chime in and take a guess what will be the newest laws to protect us from ourselves via fines or taxes??? anyone??

it may turn out in a few years we may have to either move out of the country or move to an isolated part of the country like this guy did. has anyone ever seen the longest running classified real esate ad on craigs list ๐Ÿ˜†

INCREDIBLE 84 MOUNTAIN TOP ACRES w/2 HOUSES A PLACE OF PEACE +BEAUTY (SEATED 1000′ ABOVE BEAUTIFUL, SECLUDED LAKE ARENAL)

but he is trying to get out of costa rica so what are we supposed to do now LOL

scott.. I think you should never leave your penthouse.. its safer up there.

I have 2 questions;

1. can anyone on this forum give a brief description of what is going to happen when the dollar is no longer used as oil world currency??

2. why is there a federal reserve and why are they not accountable for audits. I still do not understand why is it that we have a federal reserve that prints paper money and our government has to borrow from the federal reserve??? is this correct or am I missing something??

i thinks that 3 questions

sorry ๐Ÿ˜€
