It comes down to if you can’t afford to live without working here, rethink about moving.costaricafinca
Participantratas, if you don’t have an Entramite document when exiting on a CR-US ticket, you may still be asked to purchase a ticket out of CR when you try to return. This is what happened to us.

ParticipantI have seen first hand results from a couple of these slide together homes when constructed in an area which has often occurring strong winds. Cracking does occur.

ParticipantIn regards to the news coming from the residents of Nosara I would wait until the road has been improved if not fixed! Many are saying rentals are ‘way down’ with some vacationers saying they will never return.
Last week an acquaintance was told by ARCR that he cannot get a bank account until residency is complete and he has a cedula in hand.
A friend recently had his long time property manager leave and he decided that he could ‘do it himself’ from the USA. This included a building project and where he would arrange for the buying of materials and would have another ‘worker’ pick them up and report to him. Now, 6 months later, hardly any progress has been made even with three trips back and the new ‘overseer’ fired…costaricafinca
ParticipantI read this morning on another forum, that a former European residents pension provider will not write the letter as required since ’the recipient may go be imprisoned or return to work which will then make pension invalid'
Also you may want to read this article. on pg.3 where it mentions ”Government creates more pitfalls for expats lacking DIMEX”costaricafinca
Participantorcas I have been obviously reading the same reports as you… and am also looking for either local cuttings or seeds.:o

I do hope it means curtailing alcohol in vehicles, especially when they are moving….
I cringe when I see kids in a car, when the driver has a bottle or can at his mouth!! What a bad example to set.
I don’t expect everyone to have the same opinioncostaricafinca
ParticipantPerhaps, it has the same origin as the ‘pet spoof’. They mention ”The no.ticiero.com, a fake news site not unlike The Onion, is a great morning picker-upper, bringing us stories we would certainly love to read about our loved Costa Rica”
believe it or ….

Participantcostaricabill, your dog is safe … from the embarrassment of being seen in this contraption.
It was posted the next day, on insidecostarica that it was a ‘spoof’.costaricafinca
ParticipantWe have claimed it. But, if you do declare items of $200, you will not be allowed the $300 at a later time.

ParticipantIf you feel strongly about this issue you could ‘PM’ the individual who is asking for information, and pass on your information, if you have had some personal and firsthand experience with this person, and not just based on internet gossip.

ParticipantMeanwhile, as I type this post, hubby is trying to find where 3 cows have entered into our garden …. and then try to persuade them to leave. They may have to go through the front gate…
With the dogs barking at them and the monkeys in the trees above where the cows are, it is not so tranquil esta manana Did I mention that there is no water… -
