I turn to your financial acumen often at times because I am such a newbie regarding the decisions of the FED most of the time.

I think its because i use too much common sense maybe

I don’t know

I thought the fed was to print $40 billion per month

now it looks like $85 billion???

have I read this correctly???

is this a good thing for the american people??

thanks

David, the printing of $85 billion monthly is nothing short of the devalue of the dollar on steroids. My suggestion is to convert all your US cash into metals, and quickly. Specifically silver, gold could be subject to confiscation, silver however is used in an industrial source. Confiscation would be unlikely, and the value would continue to rise.

The QE4 is a entry way to the totalitarian regime the current administration is seeking. I personally an heavy in silver and lead (the kind with gun powder behind it), that metal too with be very tradable in the very near future.
Yes, both of you are exactly correct! I also read the Daily Bell. With the Fed printing so many Dollars, Dr. Paul Craig Roberts says that pretty soon you will enter Walmart and think you are at Neiman Marcus.
All my family and friends think I’m full of conspiracy theories and just a plain loony chicken little for converting all my assets to silver.
I believe that this government with the full knowledge and encouragement of the Chinese, is devaluing the Dollar. I believe the Chinese economy has already passed the USA. The Chinese can now dictate to the United States!
The American people have not been told this. It would be a great shock to us. To quote someone: “We are headed towards the cliff on a train going 200 miles per hour, and our leaders are debating whether to slow down to 175.”

One question to Scott and KW is how does one transfer huge amounts of silver to Costa Rica once the $hi# hits the fan? This in the event that I want to bail out of the USSA, and buy a house in CR.
most live in a fantasy the the USA is too big to fail, shit not going to hit and that USA=God’s New Jerusalem and hence, they wont beleive it at all……told the wife, its more then just getting ourselves and resources out of the USA, but one needs an oncome, as most countries dont let you just sit there and draw beeneies…like CR $1000 month income, etc….only USA seems to open its doors, lower pay grades for illegals and allow all this silliness……

COnfiscation was done in past, by FDR and is written into the Patriot Act I and II (GW Bush), expanded, as the NWO planned, by Obummer (bankster puppet, same NWO gang)…………
the secret millionaire concept has always been my motto. flashy wealth makes you a target for all kinds of unscrupulous people who would like to separate you from your assets. and it doesn’t matter where in the world you live. but you are right; wealth gives you those privileges. i guess the trick is to give it all away just before you croak so nobody has to pay taxes!!!
True, if God grants wealth, it is to be used not of flashy, look at me crappola and a 3r yacht……money is to be at the service of man, not in control, nor as a end. ALso, flashy gets one robbed a lot…..
Interesting how many Church Fathers wrote about wealth, and the responsibilities it brings-not for flashy Things…..St. Thomas Aquinas wrote that greed is limitless and destroys the soul, family, nation, etc……

In case you missed this….

Starting January 1st, 2013, the estate tax law will change dramatically!

Right now, the estate tax is 35% of any assets over $5.12M but on the 1st January 2013, the estate tax goes to 55% of any assets over $1M which is clearly a GINORMOUS increase.

If you have these kinds of assets you have precious little time to ‘try’ and move them into a legitimate tax advantaged structure like an offshore trust or foundation.

You would still be liable for taxes on the income generated but, once the assets are inside, they can grow estate tax free forever.

Do you think the estate tax is far?

Would love to know ….

Scott
oh yea.. like all the taxes in the U.S. they are fair and balanced.

a friend of mine just lost his job yesterday.

he makes $100,000 a year. they gave him 6 months severence, plus his year end bonus of $30,000

so he got one lump check today for $80,000

oh wait. that was his gross

lets break it down

that lump sump with all the fair and balanced taxes that the U.S. has

40% was taken out all together ( round out numbers)

-$32000

balance $48,000

his wife alimoney ( what the heck is this???)

25% of his gross after FICA

-$17,5000

balance $30,500

and this is what he is left for to fend for himself.

if you take in all the taxes you still have to pay after your net income

gas tax
property tax
school tax
homeland security tax
obama phone tax

the list goes on and on and on
etc etc etc

your left in a fetal position with your thumb in your mouth like in that movie the fly

help me… help me..

your probbaly paying 60% taxes by the time your done.

so the tax system is probably the most fair in the world :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I would tell them to take the check and stick it up the buts and

go on welfare, foodstamps, disability..ooohoooo my back hurts.. obama phone and sell stuff on ebay for cash
First off, there are plenty more givers than takers and, for their sometimes greater investments (and sometimes not) the givers get a lot more than the takers. Just look at Scott’s corporate negative income tax data. Those companies are hardly unique.

Second, if there are “documented cases” of those you characterize as “takers” making more than the average business owner, please provide the documentation. I’m just dying to hear about the average business owners you can point to who are forced to live on a Food Stamp budget and haven’t the resources to be able to access medical care. How many of these average business owners are living without heat. Please name them.

Further, when you characterize someone as a “giver” rather than as a “taker”, are you accounting for the public support those “givers” receive? When a corporation receives billions in negative tax payments and pays nothing, does that make the a “giver” or a “taker”?
some biggesttakers are corporate America….a lot of cheap to no taxes and land, perks, access,etc….WalMart/Waltons anyone?

Just add a few government takeovers and kickbacks to the labor unions that supported the candidates and you got a great little system called Marxism.. You probably think Gov’ment Motors and their takeaway from the shareholders to give to the unsustainable union contracts was a good thing. The fact that a working family of 4 living in the U.S. has less expendable income than the non-working family of 4 does not seem to bother you. You enable someone to get unemployment checks for 99 weeks because it’s easier to sit at home. You hand out food and drink (via the Lone Star card), cell phones and free minutes, housing subsidies, free medical care, and the redistributive Earn Income Tax Credit. There may be other benefits as well. My church gives out food, blankets, and coats to all that ask for help. Yes, all of these things could be available on a “safety net” basis, not for the dependency for which they were created. The illegitimate birth rates for black kids is around 70%. People are being rewarded for not working. We are ignoring an influx of illegal aliens and “anchor babies”. Poverty level families have 2 cars, cell phones, 2 TVs, and more. We are now approaching 2 generations of the non-working, heads-of-household. I have a student that I offered a job for $8.00/hour for raking leaves and he turned me down. I blamed him for a few days until I found out that his 35 year-old Dad was on disability, but belonged to a Club basketball and football team. The student had no work ethic to relate to. I have hired people for almost 40 years. It is now unusual to find someone to work an unskilled job for minimum wage. This is the main reason that I have sold out my degree and my business, to work in a government school. I do have my roots and I never complain about my teacher pay. I’ve endured 25 years of payroll taxes, unemployment taxes, workman’s comp, and health insurance costs. I’m definitely not a good enough business man to overcome these obstacles. I now get a 2 week Christmas vacation, a Spring Break, and almost 3 months off in the summer to get my work done and see the beautiful country of Costa Rica.
For those of you that are living the dream in CR, I envy you, but I can’t close my eyes to the problems in the States like you can. Many of my students are dressed in designer clothes and tennis shoes. They have unwed parents and one of my group has a “baby momma” in the 8th grade. They have iphones, flat screen TVs, and nice cars. Ugly, but expensive and totally unnecessary tattoos adorn them; even though they have to cover them up at school.
Perhaps you might read some of my favorite black Conservative writers like Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Ken Blackwell, and Star Parker. Marco Rubio and Sen. Ted Cruz (TX) are my latest heroes to come to forefront, as the old, white men are too busy playing golf with the President. These Conservatives have their roots in work ethics, racial problems, and the American Dream and will perhaps lead some out of the wilderness. Or you chose to ignore them. “Don’t confuse me with the facts—my mind is made up!”
I’m leaving you today with a quote from Margaret Thatcher – “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money. “

If there was a like button, I would have hit it until it broke.

You touched a main point there about the work ethic, I equate that to no moral compass anymore. No one is accountable for their actions anymore, burn yourself with hot coffee get $10 million dollars, the coffee is hot stupid! Murder 2 people, get off because of good lawyers. Someone offends you, sue them! Take away someones right because it does not “mix” with your beliefs. Break the law?, get a slap on the hand because daddy didn’t hug you when your where 2.

The government is no better, they are not accountable for justification of taking your money. I’ll step down of my box now, thank you for shopping at Kamrt.
to an extent, true, but consider that most, if not all, receipants of Social security after 5 yrs are takers…..add up what you put into SSA over the yrs, plus the meager interest and then, your monthly SSA checks. You will find in 5 or so yrs, you start getting far more then you put in and that does not incldue Medicare or an other beenies.
Oddly, no one on SSA, esp our “conservatives”, who retired, watch Fox “News” and listen to Limbaugh-none of them are giving back those checks at year 6.

nor refusing to use Medicare, nor lobby for it not be be automatically prime insurance.

Further, some move to and rave about, other nations “socialist” health plans, low costs (partially paid for by those now year 6 stolen-money checks) and other beenies on living, rent, utilities, bus passes, movie tickets, etc, etc.
