In the past, we haven’t ‘raised a hog’. But, it has something we have been talking about, sometime in the future.
We moved from the large farm and are considering a small one.

No, you cannot request a specific amount of days for the renew of your visa, and could be given 9 or 90 days.
You must do this within the 90 days of your original/recent tourist visa. And you won’t find anything cheaper than a bus trip to either country, unless you have purchased a car. Be sure if you have your own vehicle that you have the proper permits to take it across the border. You do not need to stay out for 72 hours, just long enough to get a new visa stamp in your passport.

I would guess that when you ’…have the stamped paper work and each of us has a number” if it is only the ‘file number’ you are given when first applying but not the the ‘approval info/number'

Lot’s of locals sell raw milk, but that doesn’t mean it is organic.
It will depend on where you vacation, whether raw/organic milk will be available in your area.
I buy it, too.

Unfortunately, the author of the original article hasn’t confirmed the pricing or stated where she shopped.

I believe he would be covered, but advise you to get in touch with a lawyer to determine, the true facts.

Dengue, would be my ‘diagnosis’ too. But since we are not doctors, please go to a clinic or doctors office ASAP.

We saw a beautiful 2 month old female Lab puppy this morning! The owner, my friends neighbors sister, said that there was only 1 female in the litter, and 6 males. I can try and get contact info if you are really interested.
They are located in Naranjo.

If I remember correctly, and if one is a Citizens of Spain, one can apply for permanent residency right away.
I would suggest you contact a lawyer to confirm this info.

Don’t forget to add in the cost of using A/C if not included in your rent…but you can afford it!
You will have to exit CR to renew your tourist visa after 90 days, if you decide to stay longer.

Why I questioned this article mentioning the low cost, it really sends an incorrect message that one can purchase these items for ‘next to nothing’.
Hopefully the doctor can fill us in or at least answer our question.
We moved here from Canada over 11 years ago, and even then, we couldn’t purchase ‘a basketful of produce’ for this price.

Not all B&B’s offer the use of a kitchen.
October is one of the rainiest months here, so come prepared, as some roads may be closed due to washouts. It happens every year.

Valentina, that is much less expensive than I have read elsewhere.

One thing that did come up a couple of times was that ”A release from SITES (3 month permit) this can be a problem as the permit can run out before other things line up”. After which, one man was required to pay $8000 in ‘boarding fees’.

I did read ‘somewhere’ where it can be done, but with a very slim chance of success.
Supposedly very time consuming plus very expensive … especially, if you do it, both ways.

David, has written a detailed response to your question.
Prior to being eligible to work, you would be required to retake/update your credentials, in Spanish. Of course, if you become an employer, you still will require a certain amount of Spanish to work with both employees and the bureaucracy here.
