Give me a break…….you guys are all whining like somebody is holding you up. I have not heard one of you yet indicate that these “terrible” new IRS rules are going to affect you personally. IOW, if it doesn’t affect you, why are you so concerned? And, where in the world did you all get the idea that the U, S. is going to become communist? It is NOT communism when the wealth of a nation is controlled by 1.5% of the population.
Some of us SO wish you would either get a clue or STFU…

You never have anything to say, that’s not insulting……and YOU can’t see the forest for the trees.

Whether or NOT this law affects any of us DIRECTLY, it affects us ALL as a Nation…If you are happy in your own little pissed off little world, so be it, but others of us see our Nation being weakened and SPEEDING into Fascism at a blinding rate….While simpletons fiddle.

….Sorry, but your constant insults are getting a bit tiring.
I knew it would be you who would have the loudest voice. This from the guy (remember him, folks?) who cried about not being able to get credit. Now, please make up your mind, and/or improve your vocabulary. The country can’t possibly be going Communist and Fascist at one and the same time! Why don’t find out the difference between the two?
You know, I’ve never encountered a more abrasive individual outside of the State of New York.

I never cried about credit, and resent an impotent little coward like you attempting to stir crap up…..I will reiterate my rule about having a battle of wits with an unarmed person.

I understand why you fled the US, I imagine you either pissed off everybody around you and were a lonely little man, (You wore out your welcome), or you yourself were trying to escape what was going on. ….Either way, I just know that with your winning personality and charm, you make friends EVERYWHERE you go, but as for me and your possibly homosexual fixation on me, I prefer women, so sorry cutie, but not a chance.

And since we’re discussing it, Fascism and Communism go hand-in-hand, I’m just sorry that the concept is so foreign to you.

So as I have let you piss me off once again, my apologies to everyone, and I SINCERELY hope you have a WONDERFUL day….(I know how it pisses you off when I use caps for emphasis)

NOW, let the humans discuss this, would ya? …Go kick a puppy or little girl or pull the wings off of some flies or something.

Wow…you really have an erection now don’t you?

I’ll be you know how many bowel movements I had today, huh? You going to save stuff and do this to everybody….I’m impressed. Have you nothing better to do?

Why don’t you go find a bottle and let this thread get back to the subject…I won’t respond to anymore of your taunts….I pity you….I hope you get a life.

To everyone else, I apologize for letting this little man irritate me…..PLEASE continue, and maybe he’ll go and satisfy himself or something….If there aren’t any kittens to drown.

As for my little friend John….you might accidentally run into me one day, I’d be a little more careful.

That you, Bub? OK: first, you can insult me all you want. You do NOT know me, and you do NOT know anything about me. So don’t presume to know anything upon which to base such invective. Was it not you who said, on Monday, February 8, 2010 at 8:53 AM, under the thread titled, “Whats holding you back?” – and I quote:

“What kills us is that we have nothing saved up, and have a very hard time being ABLE to save….everything went/goes out the door. For us to live, everything has to be in CASH, as our CREDIT here in the US is RUINED now, and recovery will take YEARS UPON YEARS. Credit, because of a very prejudicial and un-decipherable credit reporting and scoring system here in the US, is all but IMPOSSIBLE to correct in the course of ONE human lifetime”.

I really don’t think that anyone in the position you yourself described has any business worrying about problems that might affect folks with real money. And, I can’t believe the number of posts you have placed here that directly contradict one another, and I am amazed that you still have the chutzpah to continue posting to this forum. I would very seriously suggest that you might want to try anger management, and while you’re at it, maybe some adult education classes would help you to raise the level of your childish insults.
and stash gold. it may be the only currency at some point. during the war when my husband’s family lived on a farm in italy, ,they had plenty to eat, but the city folk had only rats, so they would come to the farm and barter for cheese, butter, milk, meat, etc. with the gold they had stashed, or their furs, or their expensive watches, or precious gems. lotta good those things did them when there was a scarcity of food. we live in interesting times, to be sure. being frugal is something we should all practice; and we should all have little gardens. you just never know when you may have to barter a head of lettuce for a few eggs.

This is a Discussion forum where our VIP Members have the freedom to discuss whatever they wish whether it affects them personally or not …

It is often a simple matter to predict what will happen in the future by watching, analyzing and brainstorming about what’s happening today, maybe that’s what’s happening here in this thread.

I have always been a voracious reader and having studied a variety of macroeconomic trends all my life, I have made a number of “predictions” in the past – which most people thought were quite radical – as to what would happen in the future that thankfully turned out to be remarkably accurate…

I would also like to request that we treat each other with a little more respect within the Forum… Whether you agree or disagree with someone the tone of our postings can be more polite and we can still disagree respectfully.

Agreed….. However, perhaps there may be an individual or two that likes to stir things up in the forums. Not because they have a different view on things or for that matter any view or really care enough about the topic to look more closely in to it. It may be just to get the attention focused on themselves, typically these characters won’t stop the blogging until they have the last word. Once you get to know who they are, they are much easier to deal with or for that matter not deal with. While am relatively new on the forum, I have found the vast majority of folks friendly, knowledgeable and positive.

    Thanks

I ABSOLUTELY agree with this….I apologize that I allowed one of these individuals rile me earlier, and YES, the vast majority of people who post here are a very likable lot with a very common bond…I won’t let this happen again…

And thanks Scott for posting that article from Mark….What is your prediction for the direction of this scurrilous piece of Legislation?

This is actually a small worry, there’s a LOT more going on that is very much more dangerous to your freedom and to the foundation of the USA.

For example, take a look at the S. 3081: Enemy Belligerent, Interrogation, Detention, and Prosecution Act of 2010

According to Lendman, ‘If passed, will more than ever make America a police state.’

Take a look at the comments below the article too …

“Similar to fascist laws in other countries, S.3081 if passed will frighten Americans from speaking out. S.3081 is so broadly written, it appears any “individual” who writes on the Internet or verbally express an opinion against or an entity of U.S. Government or its coalition partners might be detained on the basis he or she is an “unprivileged enemy belligerent”, “supporting hostilities against U.S. Government.” ”

“McCain’s S. 3081 instead mentions detaining and prosecuting Individuals for “supporting hostilities” against U.S. Government. S.3081 is so broadly written anti-war protesters Tea Party Groups might be arrested and detained just for attending demonstrations.”

You think that clamping down on terrorism is taking our freedoms from us you are smoking crack. I lost good friends on 911. Im not worried about wire taps and Internet connections with Islamic freaks. We need more of it. Im worried about the IRS and the Justice Dept and the likes trying to get into my freaking pockets every time i turn around. I guess that is the fundamental difference between the crowd that supports socialism/fascism and on its way to communism and us. Long live Capitalism.

    Scott,
I really enjoy reading your site. I think most of the members have been very informative. Today, member VMC went way over the line. He used filthy language, and insulting accusations to another member. I enjoyed recommending this website to others. I will not recommend this website to other people who are interested in investing in Costa Rica with members like VMC. VMC is not the kind of member you want writing on your website! I bet some of the members would agree!
I am sorry this went on!
