You are not alone thinking that life was going to get easier as you got older…

Like many successful people, each year you probably promise yourself that you will work less and relax more ‘next year.’

And every year you end up working harder and relaxing less.

Each New Year you probably say to yourself, “I’ve really got to simplify my life more…” and each year your life gets more complicated.

Sound familiar?

If that’s you too, from now on, I want you to STOP doing that, I want you to design and then live the life you really want because isn’t that what freedom is all about?

And you are free, right?

It’s not important to me ‘where’ you do this, it could be within the USA, Canada, somewhere in Europe (Brr!) or Costa Rica – wherever – but it is extremely important to all of us that we have more happy people in our world.

We all have the ability to make choices and 20 years ago I chose to live my life on my terms and you can too.

In my mid 30’s my first marriage was falling apart and after a decade of working a minimum of 12 hours per day on Wall Street – and becoming a real money-hungry Yuppy ass*ole – I just said: “No more! This is not me and this is not for me!”

Since that time, I have carefully designed my life to give me exactly what I want however, like a plane flying from one place to another, we need to make minor adjustments along the way and this year – my 57th year – will be another year of adjustments and I can’t wait.

We all know it’s best to write down our plans and goals so let me leave you with this one question that will hopefully get your subconscious mind cranked up to help you get started:

“If you were a wise and healthy 100 year old and had the unusual opportunity to be able to send 100 words of advice to yourself back in time when you were 20 years old, what 100 words of advice about how to create a happy life would you give yourself?”
