  1. Sleeve Gastrectomy (weight loss surgery) $12,650

During the sleeve gastrectomy, about 75% of the stomach is removed leaving a narrow gastric tube or “sleeve”. No intestines are removed or bypassed during the sleeve gastrectomy.

Sleeve gastrectomy is a restrictive procedure. It greatly reduces the size of the stomach and limits the amount of food that can be eaten at one time.

It does not cause decreased absorption of nutrients or bypass the intestines. After this surgery, patients feel full after eating very small amounts of food.

Sleeve gastrectomy may also cause a decrease in appetite.

  2. Gastric Bypass (weight loss/type 2 diabetes) $13,250

This surgery can result in two-thirds of excess weight loss within two years.

Studies on RYGB have found that it can often reverse type 2 diabetes and lower the risk for high blood pressure, sleep apnea, and certain heart problems.

RYGB can also be done as a laparoscopic RYGB. This is our preferred option because it generally means you don’t stay in the hospital as long and recover more quickly.

  3. Gastric Plication (weight loss surgery) $7,750

The Plication (aka Super Sleeve) is a restrictive procedure. The stomach volume is reduced about 70%. It involves sewing one or more large folds in your stomach.

It greatly reduces the size of your stomach and limits the amount of food that can be eaten at one time. It does not cause decreased absorption of nutrients or bypass your intestines.

It may potentially be reversed or converted to another procedure if needed.

  5. Metabolic Surgery (non-obese type 2 diabetes) $13,500.

Statistics from the surgery show that 90% of the patients who undergo metabolic surgery resolve diabetes type 2. Not only that, 90% of the patients also resolve hypertension, and 70% of the patients reduce high cholesterol levels as an added bonus to the treatment.

Your chances of resolving your disease through this type two diabetes procedure and getting rid of your medication and/or insulin injections are 9 out of 10.
