So here we sit. The end of 2016. And what a year it was…

We saw Britain vote to leave the EU… a firing shot that may lead to the collapse of Europe.

We learned that the IRS knowingly allowed thieves to use stolen Social Security Numbers to file crooked tax returns — and didn’t tell the people affected!

And we saw one of the nastiest campaigns in modern history, leading to the election of the most unlikely candidate in a very long time.

In short, we saw a lot of chaos. A ton of black swans. And sadly, this looks set to continue into 2017.

That’s why I continue to do what I do. Because I want to help as many people as possible protect themselves from the events that may just be around the corner. The ones we can’t yet see.

Will 2017 be the year of asset confiscation? Will Trump ruffle the wrong feathers and end up losing his presidency? Will China react to the president’s rhetoric and trigger an international incident – or even a war?

I don’t know. No one does, even if they pretend to.

About the only thing we can be sure of is this: We’re living in volatile times.

And it’s in volatile times that things get very dangerous for those of us with any net worth.

Maybe the government will make escape darn near impossible. Maybe a greedy lawyer will lob a frivolous lawsuit your way and take nearly everything you have. Maybe the police will accuse your possessions of a crime and just take them away. (Yes, that’s a thing.)

There’s no simple way to know.

But there is something you can do. You still have time to prepare.

And we’d like to help you do so. That’s why we first launched Private Wealth back in 2014.

  • You work with me to put together a 100% legal and fully compliant offshore asset protection plan. (We also review your domestic situation to make sure everything fits well together.)
  • My team and I help you implement it safely and without risk — including making sure everything starts out and stays kosher with any government regulations.
  • You receive ongoing support to ensure your strategy stays fully aboveboard with all the latest regulatory or legal changes that might come up in the future.

It’s a high-level concierge service that makes protecting yourself easy.

Want to learn more?

If so, consider a complementary, no-obligation phone consult with my associate Paul Castillo. He will tell you more about the program, answer all your questions and together, you can see if Private Wealth is right for you.

And if it’s not for some reason, he’ll let you know that too. But at least you’ll know.

Now is the time to start preparing for 2017. Not to worry… or panic… to prepare.

Because like the old saying, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

When it comes to your nest egg, this year may be where we really find out how true that is.
