Samara Property Values and What’s New on the Market? US$310K beach condo available.

One thing you will soon learn about Samara real estate is that there is just about the right amount of everything to make it perfect.

What I mean is that there really isn’t too much of anything. What that means to you as a buyer is that you may have to wait a little longer to find what you are looking for.

What that means to you as a seller is that property values remain fairly constant because our inventory of properties for sale is not flooded.

Samara never experienced the overbuilding that has plagued some other Costa Rican communities so that means property values have lowered a bit due to the global recession but also that you will not find property dropped to half of original asking due to price inflation years ago. Nor do we have dozens and dozens of condos to choose from.

    Hi Bill,
You have no doubt written me off of your list by now since I was negligent in not keeping up with you recently…maybe not so recently. Honestly I have not decided not to come down for a visit (poorly phrased!) but being able to get a time in which to do it has been the issue. And then the rains didn’t help at all. I was hoping you and the aing rea weren’t to horrible damaged by Nate and the other tropical storms that affected so much of the areas.
I am going to come down for sure one of these times and if you aren’t disgusted with me by now, I would still like to meet you and see what there is to offer down there.
By the way did the ‘stone house’ ever sell? That was so unique! I still think about it.
I hope you are well and thriving! Do keep me posted as to what might be available in the way of two bedroom/ two bathroom homes as well as condos. I still would need to find financing either through an independent lender or financing as the banks still don’t lend to non-residents.
    Best regards,
