I understand that Automercado offers ‘many discounts’ every Wednesday…

Because it worked so well when they made drugs illegal, right?
We all know that nobody buys illegal drugs anymore… What an incredible success the ‘war on drugs’ was…
When will people wake the f.. up and realize that the ‘war on drugs’ is simply the government keeping their profit margins high…
Opium practically built the British ‘Empire’ and the Americans are trying hard to maintain their ’empire’ using the same raw material.
Scott-
regardless of how one feels about the 2d amendment (for USA gringos) and regardless of the (US or UK) governmental role in illegal drugs over the past 150 years, in my view the analogy between gun control and drug control is a false one.
Drug addiction is mediated by a primitive area of the brain [pleasure center]. Fixation on guns often [but not exclusively] originates in a need for dominance [or fear], and is primarily a male phenomenon. As an unscientific observation, I would guess that the size of the gun is inversely related to the effective and size of the owner’s penis.

Why don’t we seek to find the type of automobile that is most commonly used in drunk driving deaths … then we can brand it an “assault auto” and ban it !

Thank Gawd France has such strict gun laws………….[/quote]Careful …
Last night Rob Lowe tweeted “NOW they close the borders” and he is persona non grata throughout the social media world.
It is not politically correct or acceptable to blame the victim … even if they are victims of their own stupidity. 🙄
December 3, 2015 at 8:40 pm #202521BillNewParticipantAnd here we go again with another mass shooting in a place with the toughest gun laws on the planet.
In order to get a CCW permit in California, you have to be able to show that you have significant cause to believe that your life, or the life of family member, is in immediate peril. Pretty much the same standard as for using deadly force. Simply wanting to carry for self defense doesn’t cut the mustard though a pending court case, Perula v California is attempting to change that.
If those same gunmen had tried that in Texas, you would have had to take a number and wait in line to get up front and get a shot at them.
December 4, 2015 at 12:04 am #202522AndrewKeymasterYet another training exercise which dovetails with yet another mass shootings.
