    This summer we are flying into Liberia for the 1st time…we usually arrive in San Jose…i would like to know if there is good car rental company we should look at for our car…Does Liberia have off airport rentals?

    Try Mapache (Mapache.com)…. I’ve used them a number of times. They have a new office near the airport and will be there to meet you.

    Most of the major players have rental outlets @ Oduber airport due to the increased air traffic and development.

    I too have used Mapache several times with great results. Good cars – I rent the Toyota 4 Runner -, good service, good rates and no hidden or extra charges. They are located right on the road into the airport. Have fun!

    I have been using Europcar and I have only had good experiences with them. Plus they will pick up and deliver the vehicle, usually a $10 charge. The rates are reasonable and the staff is very nice.
