Care to share the ‘mission statement’ for your new life in Costa Rica?

This is not mine but I just read the following at < http://www.inspiringcommunity.org/inspiringstories0404#intentionsnancy >

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

    My Reason for Being—Nancy Smeltzer

I do hereby declare that I am here on this Earth to fulfill the following:

-to radiate light and love as I move through my life, and to walk in the shadows peacefully and with acceptance

-to impart beauty in all of its many manifestations

-to inspire gentle healing for all life forms

-to strive for spiritual, emotional, sexual, and intellectual balance in my own life and with those around me

-to seek the good for all in my dealings with others

For myself, I want the following:

    -exquisite peace
    -sweet intensity
    -overflowing joy
    -boundless love
-constant connection with the Universal energy

    What I’m trying to do:

I want to develop a community of those who want to connect with each other with loving hearts and open souls. I want to create an environment where “seeing” and “being” the real you is the norm.

OK Scott, you know me! If you want to know my life mission, it will have to be a private email. Of course, you know that is was questioned
with “tongue in cheek” After all I am a “happygirl” and am at a stage in my life where things couldn’t be better. LOL

    Hi Scott:

I really enjoyed that too. Got me thinking about what mine would be…..

My life mission statement right now is to try to keep my mind focused on the work I’ve committed to finish for the next 4 years while working on my plan to live in Costa Rica when the 4 years is up. I’ll be 55 and if I don’t keel over from a heart attack or get hit by a bus, I’ll be there where you folks are now, enjoying the beautiful weather and the long lines of friendly people at the bank.

    Mission statement,

OK Scott, since this seems to be a touchy feely morning, I’ll buy in:

My mission statement is to make the inevitable palatable by never knowing whether I am working or playing. To as frequently as possible stop to admire the smile on a child’s face, the pride in a parents eye, the grace of a tree and to see sensuality where other don’t. Appreciation is the highest form of awareness and CR is still a great place to appreciate.

Do not mention it. You perform a great service here. You have my respect.

    Sincerely,

Don Diego de La Vega – or was that Don Diego de Las Vegas – you get mixed up sometime when you get old … enough to know better.

To live in the moment (not for the moment) with compassion, devotion and love.
