A friend and I are considering moving to Costa Rica. After reading about the items which are not available in Costa Rica or are very expensive, we’re wondering if is it possible to order them over the internet from companies we’re already using here in the USA and having them delivered to us in Costa Rica?

You can get anything delivered to you, but just remember that you are only exempt $500 duty free every 6 months and that only includes one package from what my shipper told me (strange rule). It also takes up to several weeks to receive your package. I try to avoid having things sent to me, instead I send to friends and family who visit me via USPS and they bring it to me–for FREE and hassle free!!
