Does anyone have a recommendation for a fairly priced hotel near the airport (within 30 min) for our first night in Costa Rica?
Hotels are not what I like to arrive into while traveling to Costa Rica. My preference is a good Bead and Breakfast with nice company and knowledgeable proprietors.
This is my choice, with a five minute ride from Juan Santamaria Airport.
Dawn and Michael are great owners and will treat you like family. Their rates are good, also.

Check http://www.hotelvillabonita.com , is located 5 “real” minutes from the airport and the Tico owners Carmen and Humberto are very nice and friendly people, very reasonable rates and the place is just beautiful, clean and great breakfast, huge rooms too!!
