Hello,
Does anybody out there have a reference for hiring a car to drive us from SJ airport to Quepos?
I usually take Sansa, but there will be three of us, plus it will be late August, and the plane has been rained out more then once.
I would like to set it up in advance, any suggestions? Prices? Thanks.
Mark

Hello I am Terry Cook….I have a “friend” in the business That I have used several times with great success. My hotel owner gave me his name before I arrived and we met just fine and I have used him several times as I have been there for 3 months at a time over the past few years. His Wife handles the phone but both speak English (although hers is better than his) Taxi Official De C.R. “city tours Transfers to any where in the country and beaches. Denis y Guiselle 506 872-9379 & 506 814-6185 …They are extremely nice and safe and have very good rates. Use my name if you wish.
I use a guy based out of Jaco. His name is Leo Varela. Very knowledgeble, affordable and reliable Well versed in English also. I have used him all the time as I travel to CR at least once a month. I have also hired him for all day trips all over CR. His number is 8982-3375 ( cell ), 2643-3435 ( Office ) Trans-Rojas Services.
I have to second Harvcarp’s recommendation. Tico Shuttle has been one of the companies we use for our clients. I have never had anything but positive experiences with Johnathan and his company. He is bilingual and goes above and beyond where the client is concerned. Buena suerte!
Kevins transfers was terrific shuttling our wedding guests from SJO to Esterillos. They were on-time, professional and had good vehicles. Everyone including our Midwestern “skeptical of Costa Rica” guests loved them. They also were right on time to take a large group of us to Manuel Antonio for the day.
