Farmers Market at Lake Arenal

There is a Farmers Market held the first and third Sundays of each month, featuring organic products, handcraft, food and much more. Location is Lake Arenal, 3 miles north of Tilaran at the intersection to Nuevo Tronadora (Cruce Cinco Esquinas) 50 meters north of the bus stop. More information for Venders pls. send PM. And we love our farmer’s market even without the mj brownies!

And what a surprise to go by the feria location yesterday and discover that they putting up a huge covered area for the sellers! With any luck, it will be ready for the market on April 7. Now if they could only slow down that wind…..

The market expanded more then initially expected, now it has to get a little more organized. The idea of the roofed area is to protect the venders from sun, wind and rain, so they don’t have to stay at home when the weather is not so nice.
Victoria, the wind keeps us cool 😀 Wait until it completely stops, then everybody will complain about the heat.

Officially from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. but most times venders show up around 9 and some of them are sold out by noon, so the sooner the better.
