The Gonzales Clinic in Grecia does excellent work. One of the two brothers is a clinical professor at the School of Dentistry at Baylor University. He’s the one who does the implants. The second brother and the sister (Jessica) are general practice dentists who are highly regarded, too.
You can reach the practice at (506) 2494-1000. The receptionist does not speak English but other members of the staff can assist.
Thanks Guys for replies. David, have you experienced first hand treatment from these recommended dentists?

Peter, Dra. Jessica Gonzalez is our regular family dentist and we love her. So do all our friends.
I once chipped a tooth at lunch and went immediately to the clinic. Dra. Jessica wasn’t available but one of the brothers (I can’t remember which) was and took me right in. He, too, seems to have done fine work. The restoration has held up for about four years. What’s not to like?
I know a couple of folks who have had implants there and no one has seemed to be disappointed with the process, the results, or the cost.
As always, your mileage may vary . . .

Two of our guests have had implants and other major work done at Nova Dental http://www.novadentalcr.com/ and they give them rave reviews, are even coming back to Costa Rica just to get more work done.
Dr. Cordero at Prisma Dental is fantastic, he redid some very expensive work done in the US by one of the most highly recommended dentists in Southern California! I am extremely satisfied.

Some procedures might be worth traveling a little for, but that is up the each individual.Some great referrals here. Thanks everyone. Can anyone give me an idea of costs for implants? At the moment, I need 1 molar.

My husband just got back from doing 4 on 1 fixed implant in his top teeth in Costa Rica. Dr. Mario pulled all his top teeth, put in the implants and removed a lot of infection. The results are amazing. My husband has had a little pain post-surgery, but doing much better than he would have if he would have had it in the states and completely sedated. We love Dr. Mario! And thanks to Charles Dennard also for helping us along the way. He will be going back in 4 months to get his permanent fixed implants and hopefully doing the same thing on his bottom teeth.
