On February 12, 2015, the sleepy little beach town of Jaco Beach, Costa Rica woke with a bang when the long anticipated Vegas style casino, Croc’s Casino Resort opened its doors for the first time, ushering in a new era for Jaco Beach.

Whether your game is Blackjack, Roulette, 3 card poker, Craps, or the thrill of their brand new top of the line slots, Croc’s opening night did not disappoint.

All tables were packed with excited players and the cash was flowing. If gambling wasn’t your pleasure, Croc’s offered plenty of excitement around its signature, spectacular pool area and lounge, El Zarpe complete with 2 live crocodiles.

Costa Rican band & crowd favorite Los Nomas, had the poolside rocking with their wild stage antics and eclectic funky dance sounds.

And if food is your passion, there was plenty to choose from. Croc’s specializes in culinary cuisines from around the Mediterranean with tastes Italy, Spain, & Greece.

As the evening was winding down, guests were treated to a 25 minute spellbinding fireworks display over Jaco Beach.

For those that wanted to keep the party going, it was off to the casino’s night club, Holy Moly. A modern club the likes of which Jaco has ever seen.

All in all, it was an amazing evening, and if opening night is any indication, Jaco’s future, and landscape, has just changed for the better.
