It’s that time of the year when the birds are rushing about gathering twigs, moss and other useful materials including string (??) to build their nests.

At the moment we have six different nests in the two big higueron trees we have in our garden, we have two nests in the lemon tree at the back of our garden and it looks as though there are a few others ‘under construction.’

Long time VIP Members will know that I love watching birds and I adore hummingbirds, for those of you who also enjoy birds I offer you some photos from earlier today.

Believe it or not those two black birds – the Grackles – try to untangle that string ten times per day, every single day…
