If time permits, I plan on visiting the construction every week to check on progress, to take photographs for you and give a brief update. I am really grateful that we were able to use this reliable and trustworthy construction crew again otherwise I would probably be living on site during this process.

I have also decided to build the garage area, the bodega with the washer & dryer and firewood storage area away from the house.

What we may do is build a covered walkway from the garage to the main door to protect us during the rainy season.

As of the 30th January 2009 the total cost so far in building this vacation or retirement home in the country has been US$63,373.47 which includes the cost of the 5,000 square meters of land which was ready to build on.
