10 Tongue-In-Cheek Reasons NOT To Take George Lundquist’s Costa Rica Retirement Tour.

[custom_script adID=149]

  1. The cost difference between a McDonald’s hamburger in Costa Rica and the US is important to you.
  2. You believe “crown molding” is an important feature of the value of a home.
  3. Preserving your capital is way more important than your quality of life. (This assumes you have critically examined what you value in quality of life).
  4. You believe strongly that excellent quality medical care is only available in the USA. (This also assumes it is available to you).
  5. You want to “save money” by using only online bulletin boards and books for advice and direction on legal and other issues relating to living and investing in Costa Rica.
  6. You believe nearly everyone is out to get what they can from you. (Distrust until they prove beyond all doubt that they are not and, protect your “stuff”” at all costs).
  7. You feel you must watch “the news” as much as possible every day and get VERY upset by what you see. You read and circulate (without verifying) all of the “right wing” emails you get.
  8. All transactions of a legal nature must be adversarial. Your attorney’s job is to extract the most from the opponent as possible. (Win/Win is an idealistic fantasy).
  9. Complaining about events and situations is the best way to contribute to society.
  10. Your dissatisfaction with the way things are is all the fault of your government.

Actually, if one or more of these applies to you, this tour may be just what you need to get a fresh start on the rest of your life…
