Good Morning All,
I too am an American looking to retire in Costa Rica. My head is swimming from all the good information provided by the discussion forums and other living in Costa Rica info.
As many have pointed out, you have to live in CR to really get an idea of where you want to be and who you want to be with. I have narrowed it down to the Central Valley (not including San Jose) but many places seem appealing.
I do want an area that is a mix of Ticos and expats. I will always be a renter so that is a factor. I will be living on my social security so my income is fixed (for now).
I thought I would see if there are any other single women out there who are looking to “look around” next month and might want to share expenses. Or, if there is anyone already located who wants to rent a room for 3 months.
There is a caveat – I have two small dogs that are coming with me.
