I am a fan of the old 1970’s Toyota Land Cruisers. I have seen a lot of diesel BJ40’s recently imported into the US from Costa Rica. I’ve done some looking online and there are still lots of these old trucks for sale. I’d like to combine a nice vacation to Costa Rica with buying a couple old Toyotas to ship back to the US. I’ve read that the title process in CR is very time consuming. Is this something that I can make happen in a 6-8 week vacation, or does anyone have a suggestion for how I could accomplish my goal? Could anyone shed a little light on what to expect in the process?
