Okay, it is a humorous little spoof for a serious message written about our exciting gift of 16 microscopes some weeks back.

Our buddy and VIP member, Dennis Kuzara who so generously donated 16 microscopes to our hard working country veterinary practices sees the deep need for these basic diagnostic tools. See the photos of some of the happy faces not pictured in our original “thank you” article.

Dennis is once again collecting more scopes to try to send down to us. When he donated the original 16 scopes he was living close to the west coast where Barry Wilson made space on one of his shipments out of Anaheim, California to include our much needed microscopes.

Dennis has since moved to Florida but is continuing his valuable work to try to send us much needed medical equipment; not only the microscopes, but he is searching for other equipment for us. Our current problem is the “sleigh”… i.e… ocean shipping from the east coast around the Florida area.

Dennis says he has about a dozen microscopes (with the possibility of more ‘scopes in the future as well as possible other medical equipment like portable x-ray equipment, blood analyzers etc) that he is checking out now and will be available for shipment shortly.

So, our plea is to anyone who owns or has access to an Eastern coast shipping company shipping to Costa Rica who would be willing from time to time to donate space aboard to help us out with the shipment of desperately needed donated medical equipment. It seems that equipment is available for donation if we can find someone willing to ship it.

“Santa” (and his hard working “elves”) will be eternally grateful.
