We have 6 dogs, over 20 turkeys plus one young peacock, of all sizes, free ranging and it does help keep the bugs away, but they don’t venture far from the houses …the turkeys that is…or their roost and unfortunately the insects do.

For pre-school the rate is very good.
Here is another link that may help but it is outdated

Here is the link to a previous post on this forum, that provides a lot of important info on private schools in Costa Rica,
Cost are quite high, everywhere…
I, for one, recommend finding a school first before committing to a specific area or home.

Go to one of the stores near you or in Liberia that stock this make, and ask there. We have found they usually have reliable technicians that they recommend.

I am ‘amazed’ that there is not more Costa Rican involvement in finding out what happened and in the search for more victims in this horrific case.

This is copied from another post elsewhere:

”CAJA provides NO TESTING SUPPLIES AT ALL… no meter, strips etc…Get this.. I get one needle a day (from CAJA) when I use 5 or more insulin shots a day. They use the older insulin which means I personally don’t have as good control as when I was on Lantus and humalog…. Now they give me NPHr and NPHn. “

Hopefully this info helps.

If you read more of the other post, you will see they decided it is too risky.
And I totally agree!

If you decide to stay longer, there may be a delay in receiving your necessary meds. that could cause problems.
I know on another forum, someone has said that what you are presently using, are not available. Some medications are allowed in …some are not.
I, for one, if totally dependent on particular medications that are not available here, would not chance it, and this is what I meant in the other very brief response, sorry.

Our neighbor is always having problems with solar panels , but luckily he has them just for a water pump at his pond.
In regards to the ‘rainy cloudy days, even here at our location in sunny Guanacaste we have had nearly two months of heavy rain, nearly every day.

rosiemaji for your first license here, you need to go to La Uruca, where, if you are still within the legal 90 tourist visa and have an existing driving license, it is a breeze. But…if you are over the 90 days, you will need to sit the test in Spanish, a whole different ball game.

This is indeed unusual! I would check further to see if it is indeed what most of have received a long time after applying.
