What sort of decline/increase have you see in the number of potential buyers who have contacted you in the last six months in comparison to the previous year?

“Buyer interest has increased at least by 20% from last year and our closings are up by about that amount as well, so that is all positive!”

How has the number of sales declined or risen in the last six months in comparison to the previous year? We have seen sales strong at the end of last year, quiet in January and February and now picking up in March/April with clients coming in.

“This year has been great. Especially in the last 6 months. I have noticed we sell more real estate in the low season than in high season. We’ve seen about a 10% more closings in the first 6 months at compared to the sales from last year.”

What is the easiest real estate sale for you in your area right now?

“Any home or condo near the beach that has good vacation rental income.”

Where do land prices stand now in your area in comparison with this time last year?

The prices on land are about the same as last year.

We have seen an increase of about 10-15% on condo and home prices from last year.

“Homes, Condos, Lots, Commercial and Farmland.”

“Ocean view homes for under $500,000 and ocean view condos under $300,000”

Is there an oversupply of any particular product?

“Single family home sites with ocean view.”

Where are the best opportunities right now in your area?

“Homes and condos that cash-flow well as vacation rentals.”

How do you feel the real estate market will perform in your area for the remainder of 2014?

I believe it will continue and be even stronger as we near the end of 2014. Now is a great time to buy!
