Stronger rains and cooler temperatures will affect all sectors in the country form the Caribbean to the Northern most parts of Costa Rica

When Does the Rains Season End?

Pablo Manso, director of the IMN said that residenmts in some regions need to be alerts because of occasional flooding

However the Pablo Manso added that over the last 20 years, the northern Pacific region has seen a 15% decrease in the amount of rain, an 18% decrease in the Central Pacific but a slight increase in the Central Valley area.
