As if I needed another reason to be glad that we live in the South Pacific of Costa Rica!

Aside from the incredible beaches and tropical landscape I live surrounded by a vibrant, close knit, multi-talented community who certainly know how to organize the best events and the Envision Festival is no exception!

Take my word for it; the Envision festival comes highly recommended. With a fantastic beach side location where art and music come together, it’s a great family event, one that I know we are certainly looking forward to.

Billed as one of the region’s most exciting family orientated events it’s time to head to Bahia Ballena on the South Pacific coast of Costa Rica.

To be held from the 1st to the 4th of March 2012 it’s an excellent opportunity to get out and enjoy the sights and sounds of one of the most positive festivals in Costa Rica and one that my kids are really looking forward to.

With white sandy beaches, stunning verdant landscapes and an abundance of wildlife it’s hard to imagine a more fitting location for such a positive event inspired by a progressive consciousness for the betterment of the community and the planet.

The final details are still being put together but we can confirm that the four day event will include surfing, diving, paragliding, kayaking, canopy tours and jungle walks for the more active participants as well as yoga, dance and eco educational workshops, not forgetting the fantastic art, music, talented entertainers and delicious healthy food.

A quick look at the event website confirms that The Envision festival hopes to highlight Costa Rica as a leader in eco-local consciousness. The founders have built strong foundations with the community using local vendors to source building materials, organic produce and art work.

From group seminars on the beach to interactive demonstrations throughout the grounds and surrounding areas, we hope to engender a lasting consciousness about how our actions and choices influence the planet and to create viable solutions to the problems we face.”
