Roca Verde is the largest of the gated communities in Atenas, and is conveniently located within walking distance of the center of town and a 5-minute drive to the new highway, which leads San Jose in 30 minutes, as well as the beach areas in 30 minutes. Atenas is a small mountain town in the western Central Valley, said to have the 'Best Climate in the World' and home to a large expat community.
