Costa Rica. "It was the best time of my life."
Written by VIP Member Melody Majauskas
Costa Rica had to be, hands down one of the best experiences of my life. My husband and I enjoyed our honeymoon for ten days in a beautiful tile home in Puriscal with glass windows all around the house. Everywhere you go you see forestry, green and nature at its finest.

It was like living right in the middle of a tropical forest. This house gave us solitude, independence, and freedom to do whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted. It is not like any stay vacation that many may be used to. You don't have room service, room cleaning, and morning calls. You buy your own food, cook it and clean up after yourself. It is perfect for those explorers out there who may not be back in time for the hotel to serve breakfast, lunch or dinner. You simply make anything you want, when you want it.

It's also very cost effective so you can spend more fun on adventures and tours. But then there may be times when you want to try their food and eat out. There are many great places very close to the house that serves many tasty dishes. The house is equipped with telephone, internet, and television. So if you're like me and need to know what's going on back home, you have all the necessities you need.

What I enjoyed a great deal was the outdoor pool on the property. It was extremely clean and very secluded. It was fun to just sit and relax outside so close to home. A trip to the ocean is a bit of a journey so it was nice to just take a shortwalk to the pool and sit back and relax. It is a fairly large pool with a hot tub and change room. Not far from the pool is a beautiful garden that almost takes your breath away. I have never seen so much green and color in my life. Tall trees surround the garden and a small pond is right in the middle. Should I ever go back this is where I'd like to spend a lotmore of my time. It was absolutely beautiful.

What we did most was taking drives and exploring. The roads were a bit of a challenge at times, which in a sense gave us more time to really enjoy our surroundings. We would pack some lunches, go to the ocean and stay in small hotels. We stayed in Jaco for a few nights
where we did some shopping and had some surfing lessons. The next day is when we took a tour to Tortuga Island. This was an absolute paradise. They feed you, take you on a boat to go snorkelling, and let you have the time of your life. They had all your necessities and more like washrooms, a store for souvenirs, volleyball nets and wild animals all around you at all times. This is only one of many fun and exciting tours you can take. But for me it was the best time of my life. When I close my eyes and think of a paradise this was it!

The only way you can have fun is to go exploring, get lost, and have a blast doing it all.
Costa Rica was the most memorable and exciting times of my life. It was absolute bliss. And I would recommend everyone to experience it for themselves.
