Many realtors in Costa Rica believe that we have nothing good to say about them at WeLoveCostaRica.com which is NOT correct.

Since I do not personally sell real estate, I have recommended THOUSANDS of our VIP Members to professional real estate brokers in Costa Rica, it's just that I'm very selective about who is recommended.

But today, I'm going to beat up on real estate buyers!

In seeing how hard some real estate brokers work, it really gets up my nose when they are treated like lepers with bad breath.

Like the 'gentleman' that emailed me asking me to recommend a Costa Riva realtor to help him buy a luxury condo in one of the 'hot' spot beach areas.

The very professional and conscientious lady I recommended telephoned him and confirmed their appointment. In their conversation she also mentioned to this 'gentleman' that it was a two hour drive each way for her to meet with him.

No problem he said, he was a 'serious' buyer.

So 'serious' was he that when she showed up on time at 10am at his very expensive, some might call it an 'exclusive' or 'dream' resort near Jaco he told her that he and his friends hadn't finished their breakfast yet (one was already drinking a beer) and that they would meet her at the project.

At 11.30am he had not shown up and didn't even give her the courtesy of a telephone call, charming eh?.

Thankfully she was smart enough not to go that far without arranging a second appointment with one our VIP Members who did treat her like a professional and who did buy a Jaco condo a few days later...

Best wishes from your 'amigo' in Costa Rica who begs you to treat your real estate professional in Costa Rica as you would like to be treated yourself... With a little respect.
