These photographs above and below taken by VIP Member JB are of phase II of Paragon's Gables project called "The Valley of Pacifica" which was started in 2004.

No roads have been built, the gatehouse was built in 2005 and from what we can see, no work has been done since that time.

In the WeLoveCostaRica.com Discussion Forum the group we have received the most questions about - by far - has been Paragon Properties of Costa Rica. You will find 29 Discussion Forum thread with Paragon Properties in the title and mentioned in about 77 other threads...

You will also see a number of Related Articles listed at the bottom of this page.

This comes as no surprise since Paragon's marketing campaign at one time consisted in part of sending out 30 million emails per week so lots of people saw their name - whether they requested the emails or not - and their 'Tommy The Toucan' video ...

On 3rd February 2009 in a telephone interview with an online newspaper, Despite what he calls a tough situation, the chairman of Paragon Properties of Costa Rica, S.A., renewed his promise Monday that he would complete the infrastructure on the company's many projects here."

In the interview, Mr. Gales disclosed that Paragon had sold 2,509 lots out of a possible 2,600 over 17 different projects which, claims Mr. Gale, makes Paragon Properties Properties one of Costa Rica's major developers.

15 of these projects are supposedly fully permitted and ready for home construction although a mere four (4) homes in total have been built on all 17 projects...

This development would work out to be an average of 0.23 homes built per project, less than one home built per year which by definition surely makes Paragon Properties of Costa Rica one of the most insignificant "developers" to ever set foot in Costa Rica.

Although JB's family did buy a lot in one of Paragon's first projects over four years ago and visit Costa Rica regularly, JB confirms that not one Paragon project has done the "hard work" necessary and completed the infrastructure but, as we can see here, some of Paragon's properties do have nice entrances.

Please note that should any of our VIP Members wish to email us photographs of the completed infrastructure - if it exists - in any of Paragon's 17 different projects, some of which were started in early 2005, we would be delighted to publish them - "con mucho gusto."
