Build Your Own Vacation or Retirement Home Part XXI. 21 weeks and US$72,587.96 invested in construction so far.

Scott Oliver - May 2009
Printer-Friendly Format

Our construction crew continued sanding down the floors and started installing the ceramic tiles in the bodega and then the garage area.

We have given what we 'think' are clear instructions and measurements for the construction of the bathroom cabinet and the kitchen cabinets.

We have now finished putting the little river rocks on the chimney, the living room wall, the dining room wall and around the front door.

There were no major purchases this week, only the usual c250,000 payment to the crew, with the balance (currently US$7,327.05) to be paid once the home is finished.
The chimney in the study on the second floor has been finished.
