One project in particular which we represent, Cape Sails Estates, has been selling extremely well. This very affordable project, which is under construction now consists of 78, two bedroom, two bath condos of 800 square feet each, has almost sold out of Phase I with very little advertising. What I like about this project is that the developer is well funded and does not need the funds from you to start building. As a matter of fact, the construction has been at such a quick pace, they are actually ahead of schedule which is unusual in Costa Rica! Cape Sails Estates is located in a great location between Playa Grande and Playa Conchal in a true "Tico" community. The town of Matapalo is the last town you get to before you make the turn off to famous Playa Grande. A five minute drive will get you to Playa Grande and also Playa Conchal.
From the development, you can walk to two grocery stores, the police station, schools, church and of course, the soccer field! The condos themselves, have an open floor plan and green space in front of and behind each unit. The first several phases are only five condos per building, single story, so it's still private feeling and really more of a villa than a condo.
