Matapalo Real Estate For Sale - Near Dominical

Following is an overview of the different types of areas that are available around the Dominical area.

Matapalo

This area as shown in the photograph above is 9 kilometers north of Dominical, has a nice beach where you can swim. There is the cute, little town of Matapalo that has a couple of restaurants and sodas along with an internet café.

The lots in the area of Matapalo have nice, large ocean and mountain views that range from ½ - 8 acres in size, prices ranging from $60,000 - $150,000. Most lots are within a five minute drive to the beach.

Hatillo

The area of Hatillo is located about 7 kilometers north of Dominical. The beaches are beautiful and most of the lots in this area have mountain views, but there are a few that have wide-open ocean views.

Most of the land for sale is located high in the mountain, but are more private. The lots are about a 5 minute drive to the beach with lots ranging from 1 - 10 acres and prices ranging from $50,000 - $250,000.

Dominicalito/Escaleras

This area is approximately three kilometers south of Dominical up in the hills. Many of these properties have spectacular ocean views of the Osa Peninsula up to Manuel Antonio also there are many mountain ridge properties. There are quite a few properties that have a great view of the natural harbor, Dominicalito.

It is about a 5 - 10 minute drive to the beach from these areas. Also, in Dominicalito this beach is a little more sheltered in a cove where it allows for safe swimming in the ocean. Lots range from $100,000 - $350,000.

Hermosa

Hermosa is about a ten minute drive south of Dominical. Playa Hermosa is a beautiful, clean beach. Lots are about a two minute drive to the beach with spectacular, wide range views from mountainous to ocean views. Private land for sale in this area ranged from $150,000 - $350,000.

Uvita

Land For Sale in Uvita?

This area is about 15 minutes south of Dominical. There is an existing town with restaurants, sodas and little markets that carry the basic necessities. There is a wide range of land for sale; ocean, mountain, ridge and river view properties with some private. Prices range from $50,000 - $250,000.

Ballena

Ballena is approximately 20 minutes south of Dominical. This is where the Ballena National Park is which encompasses the "Whale's Tail." This name was originated from the make up of the land, because at low tide when you are up in the mountain looking down on the Park the land looks like a whale's tail.

It is something really amazing to see. The properties in this area have great island and ocean views. There are a few lots that are walking distance to the beach or others that are about a two minute drive. Lots range from ¼ - 5 acres, prices ranging from $100,000 - $350,000.
