This modern, American-style three bedroom/two bath home outside Grecia is available for rent by the month or longer. It is located some 7.5km from downtown Grecia on a quiet, all-weather, dead end road.

The views are spectacular! On the paved main road, some four hundred meters away, there is local bus service to Grecia and points beyond. By car, Grecia is about forty-five minutes from Juan Santamaria International airport and an hour and fifteen minutes from downtown San Jose.

This is a great location for a family vacation. You can relax on the covered back deck in a leather rocker, watch the birds, and listen to the river at the bottom of the property. You can walk the beautiful surrounding hills. And you can use it as a jumping off point for day trips throughout the Central Valley.

If you are considering Costa Rica as a retirement destination, this location will allow you to experience the rural Central Valley at its best. Daytime highs rarely hit 80 degrees F; nighttime lows reach about 60.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric range, refrigerator, coffee maker, pots and pans, cutlery, silverware, dishes and kitchen linens. The counter tops are granite and there is a double sink with hot water. Not all Costa Rican rental homes' kitchens have full hot water. The dining table accommodates six. The adjoining living room has a new leather sofa and matching love seat.

The bedrooms feature queen-size beds. The two bathrooms have tile shower stalls and hot water. All bed and bath linens are provided. All utilities are included in the rent including water, electricity, trash removal and a private telephone line. High-speed wireless Internet access is available at additional cost. An arrangement can be made for long distance calls to the United States, if you need to keep in touch.

The exterior is professionally maintained at no additional cost. There is a secure garage for your use.

There is a new Whirlpool washer and dryer. The house comes furnished with an initial supply of paper products, soaps, detergent, dryer sheets, cleaning supplies, coffee, filters, salt and pepper, etc. If you give us a list, we'll shop for you before you arrive.

Airport pick-up and drop-off are available. Housekeeping and limited settlement services may be available at additional cost. Smoking is not allowed inside. No drug users and no heavy drinking. Pets may be welcome. Please tell us your needs.

A twenty percent deposit is required with your reservation. We will send you instructions for making this payment over the Internet via PayPal. The balance and all future rents are payable in cash in US dollars.
