Costa Rica Realtor in Escazu - Brief Biography of Martin Gill:

"I was born and raised in and around New Orleans, Louisiana. My love for Latin America began in high school Spanish class where I began to learn the language. I have always focused on doing business in Latin America and studied in Mexico and Spain during my college years at Hampden-Sydney in Virginia.

My wife, Mary Katharine is from Dallas, Texas and we live in Escazu with our two kids. We love the climate, the access to amenities and the people. We enjoy the duality of living in an area with first world shopping and health care, but at the same time we can eat lunch at a "soda" or be riding a horse in the mountains just minutes from our home.

Residence styles include executive condos, family condos, town homes, single family homes, estate homes, and golf course homes. All of the options can have great views and offer an open air lifestyle where you can appreciate the beauty of your surrounding on a daily basis.

Escazu has the highest value commercial land in the country and the highest concentration of wealth. It is an ideal place to run a business, invest, and live. The area's unique position at the head of the new road to coast only solidifies the values and improves the lifestyle factor for area residents. You can pick your flavor in this area: Escazu is the closest area to San Jose and has the highest elevation and coolest temperatures. You won't need heat or air-conditional all year.

Santa Ana is lower in elevation and warmer and also offers more flat land and more space for your money. The Brasil de Mora and Ciudad Colon areas offer country living and larger lots for greater values all just 15 minutes from the shopping areas of Escazu and 1 hour form the coast.

Properties in the western central valley have high demand from locals and foreigners alike. There is a real economy in the central valley that is not dependent on tourism. Many international companies have operations here because there is an educated bilingual workforce available at very competitive wages, solid telecommunications infrastructure, free trade zones, and easy access from North America.

As a professional Realtor, Martin used to work on the Pacific Coast but now focus on the Escazu, Santa Ana and Ciudad Colon areas and also handles commercial real estate needs throughout the central valley.

Costa Rica Realtor Martin Gill - Customer Testimonials

My experience with Martin Gill was wonderful. When I met him I didn't know what I was looking for. Martin was trustworthy, honest, patient and competent. He made the search enjoyable, found the place of my dreams, and walked me through the entire process. I wouldn't think of using another Costa Rica Realtor for future transactions. "It is my pleasure to be a client reference for Martin Gill. His wide-ranging knowledge and professional skill in finding exactly what we were looking for with our very first property viewing was amazing, along with his truly unexpected level of honesty and sincerity as a real estate broker, and "all around great guy". His dedication to dealing with people and business in a totally unpretentious, high-spirited and genuinely friendly manner under some truly challenging conditions would be hard to believe, if I hadn't seen it for myself. There was never a moment's worth of fuss or haggling over prices and details, and it is obvious that he takes pride in providing the kind of caring and personable service we all hope for, but rarely come across anymore. There is no way we could have had a better experience, or made a more perfect deal on our ultimate "Dream Property" in Costa Rica. "Three Cheers" for Martin Gill." "The last time I used the services of a Realtor was back in 1981 and the experience left me not liking Realtors too much. But working with you was simply a pleasure. The whole process was enjoyable and without any hassles that one might expect from this kind of transactions. From my past experience I had learned not to trust anything a Realtor might tell me, but you earned my trust quickly with your professionalism, honesty and knowledge of the market. I could not have done it without you. I am very grateful to We Love Costa Rica for linking us up. If you ever need a reference with any prospective clients, please feel free to give them my name and contact information. I would be happy to talk to them and tell them what a great experience I have had with you." Jim Tou, NY, USA.
