In 1997 Cynthia Voetsch vacationed in Costa Rica for the first time, and she immediately fell in love with the people and the beauty of the country. In the year 2000 Cynthia bought a villa in Tulemar Gardens, Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica; she completely remodeled and added all the amenities of a luxury home to it.

Soon Cynthia saw the opportunity of developing luxury villas and started Pooky International, a real estate development company. In July 2002, Pooky International purchased property on which it later

developed six villas.

This project was financed through Pooky International and private investors. While completing phase I, Pooky International purchased four more lots and built 15 larger, more luxurious homes. This phase is close to completion and 66% of the homes are sold and the remaining are generating income in the rental program.

Costa Rica Luxury Developer's Personal Experience: With the vision to manufacture lawn and garden accessories and sell them to retailers, Cynthia Voetsch founded CJV Associates in Chicago, Illinois in 1984. CJV Associates designed lawn and garden accessories and furniture, manufactured in Asia and sold directly to retailers.

CJV's clients included the leading retailers in the United States: Costco, Home Depot, Lowe's, Sears and Sam's Club. For the past 20 years Cynthia has successfully managed CJV Associates, now with her heart fully focused on her projects in Costa Rica, Cynthia has sold CJV. 100% of her business will now be dedicated to development projects in Costa Rica.
