I took another tour around Escazu last week (mid February 2007) to see how a few of the brand new Costa Rica luxury condo buildings were progressing.

Our recommended Costa Rica Realtors could show you luxury condo apartments in Escazu for $250,000 and there are a surprising number of ultra-luxury condos for US$1,000,000+ 'if' there were any available.

Costa Rica Luxury Condo Apartments at El Cortijo

We have very traditional, colonial styled luxury condos like El Cortijo being built by the Spanish construction company DIURSA with four storeys, nine floors and 136 apartments.

This is US$15,000,000 real estate investment (37,295M2 of construction) located in the upscale Los Laureles area of Escazu about 200 meters way from the US Embassy residence. This project has generated over 450 jobs and as you can see from the photo is near completion.

Valle de Tamarindo - Enormous ultra-luxury condos

There is the 12 floor Valle de Tamarindo project which is now finished where there are sixteen 440M2 apartments (4,734 square feet) and two enormous 650M2 (6,994 square feet) ultra luxury condo apartments which start at US$580,000.

Escazu Luxury Condo Apartments at Torres del Country

The first phase of the Torres del Country project is also complete with three bedroom luxury Escazu condos from 165M2 (1,775 square feet). There are only two (one on the ground floor and another on the second floor) remaining luxury apartments available for around $250,000

Costa Rica Condos For Sale - Los Prados - Sold out!

There are the sixteen modern apartments at Los Prados being built by our friends at Proyecto Urbano. They are all sold except one.

Even the new Escazu condos that I would personally consider bloody ugly are sold out...
