Costa Rica Living at the Beach - Free video interview on Jaco beach

Printer-Friendly Format

David and his wife Kate who are forty 'something' first traveled to Costa Rica during Thanksgiving of 2003.

They were traveling with a friend who was thinking about moving to Costa Rica and tagged along as a vacation and like many of us, fell in love with the country and the Ticos. Dave grew up in Ohio and has visited Central America seven years in a row performing drama and directing kids in building projects and assisting in medical outreach which is when he fell in love with Central America and first visited Costa Rica. Dave worked in the printing industry for 11 years, owned his own printing business for 8 years and then worked as Internet Sales Manager for Acura for 7 years before moving to Costa Rica where he loves boogie boarding, wants to learn to surf, and has enjoyed reading since moving here, especially history related books. Costa Rica Living at the Beach Video: To watch this short video taken at Jaco beach, please click on the small black triangular Play button. Kate is from San Jose... But we're talking about San Jose in California. She worked in corporate finance before moving to Costa Rica and loves scrap booking and reading. Walks on the beach are a must! Dave was thankfully able to take time time out of his busy day walking on the beach at Jaco to give us his feelings about moving to Costa Rica. They did find a great investment property which they bought near the beach in Esterillos Oeste just a few days after arriving. They have remodeled that home and are living in it until they put it on the market. It was one of those - being in the right place at the right time - type of things. Dave and Kate are living their dream, taking one day at a time, and are experiencing now what Pura Vida really is and ... They both agree with the T-shirt - "Costa Rica.. Life's too short - don't waste it".
