These condos are located on the main strip in Jaco Beach so they are just a short walk to the beach, tons of restaurants, markets, pubs, movie theatre and much more.
My wife and I own 3 condos side by side by side in this gated community that is referred to as “Villas Paradise.” We happily lived in one unit until we had children after which we busted down the wall between the 2nd condo to allow for more living space.
We aren’t going to have any more children so we will not be busting the wall down into the 3rd residence but rather we renovated it and use it as a rental as well as a place to host friends and family.
Because of the location and affordability they make for great rental properties.
We have a great mix of neighbors from all over the world but mostly they are comprised of American’s, Canadians and Costa Rican’s.
The community is extremely safe and secure and the monthly maintenance fees are a mere US$113 per month.
The large community pools and gardens are well maintained.
A few condos remain with prices between US$65,000 and $89,000.

Hello, I am retired, looking for a condo of good quality to live permanently (10-11 months a year). I liked the one I saw on your page, for $65 (I think). But – will I be able to live there without a car? Is public transportation within walking distance? Grocery shopping, farmers feria, even tiny ones, for fresh fruit and veggies? And Social Sec health center/hospital? I had an acquaintance, old man, he lived not far from San Jose. He could afford any hospital, but was impressed with social sec. one, got a knee replacement, brilliantly done. Just no luxury in accommodations (single room, space for a guest/family member visiting), but he and I as well do not care for those
He was very happy with the skills of doctors, and maintained good health until his passing in his nineties. I’m seeking the right place for me for happy secure life in retirement in beautiful CR. And one more thing – no,i won’t rent my place when I’ll be traveling. Is aliquota a guarantee from burglars/vandals? Please, be honest.

Here in Jaco Beach you can pretty easily live without a car. There is one main strip in town that hosts 50+ restaurants, many markets, shops, movies, etc. and it is all flat and easy to bike or walk. Taxi’s are also readily available and you can get pretty much anywhere in town for $2.
We have several fruit markets and a farmers market every Friday.
The health care in Costa Rica is excellent and I can attest to that with personal experience. Town is very safe and I have no reservations about walking through town at anytime.

Hello from Rough Rider country … my husband and I will be back in Jaco in September and then plan to spend 7 months a year October – May in Jaco starting in 2019 when we retire. I don’t know if you also deal in rental properties but if so, we would gladly pay for the service. We may buy in the future but will rent initially to be sure Jaco is the place for us.
