The Obama administration has now adopted the strategy of using citizenship as a weapon," writes whistleblowing hero Edward Snowden, surprising no one who has been paying enough attention in the past few years.

We've been saying this for years now ourselves. The time is coming when the gentle prodding of the USSA imperial police state will become a naked mugging with overt threats of violence and kidnapping. Capital controls and border controls to keep in both money and people are coming. What's happening to Snowden is just a taste of what's coming to Americans that the US doesn't consider nearly as troublesome.

I think we're the only ones who weren't surprised by this. Edward Snowden seems to have become aware through very painful personal experience. Meanwhile, that message still mostly falls on very deaf, nation-state-worshiping ears.

"Although I am convicted of nothing, [the Obama admimistration] has unilaterally revoked my passport, leaving me a stateless person. Without any judicial order, the administration now seeks to stop me exercising a basic right. A right that belongs to everybody. The right to seek asylum."

I have to stop and correct Edward on this point. Seeking asylum is not the basic right that's being denied. The freedom to move about as one pleases is the right that's under assault by the very immoral system of nation-states and slave papers (oops, sorry, passports).

But still, if you are a person who believes in both economic and personal liberty (and, really, they are two sides of the same coin), then imagine how handy it will be to have a passport the USSA can't revoke as we descend further in The End Of The Monetary System As We Know It (TEOTMSAWKI) and more and more tax slaves inevitably flee the sinking ship…while the US clamps down on the outflow of people and their money.

That's why we're recommending that you beat the rush and get your second citizenship and passport ahead of time. When you do something as upsetting to the regime as Edward Snowden has, they will be relentless in their efforts to punish you.

But another citizenship and passport could have worked as just another line of defense even for him. He would have had something else to travel on instead of finding himself counting on the kindness of various nation-state strangers to let him in.
