From the Producers of the HGTV smash “Selling New York” comes “Live Here, Buy This!” — a new fantasy real estate series.

Viewers are taken on an armchair tour of the world, and shown properties for sale… equivalent in value to that of their current home.

I am excited to have had the opportunity to host this show alongside the regular host Dave Lapsley. We will be showing a total of six properties in Playa Tamarindo, Conchal, Potrero, Flamingo and Manuel Antonio.

Each family we represent (a total of 3) have a fantasy of living in Costa Rica at the beach. Each family has a budget in mind and a type of property they prefer. I had the task of choosing properties that I felt best suited each couple.

In the end, some truly amazing properties and sights of Costa Rica were filmed and will be showcased this Fall on 27th August 2012 on HGTV.

Costa Rica was chosen as the #1 destination for the Canadian families interviewed for this show. Since Costa Rica was chosen three times, there will be three episodes highlighting the country.

Each episode is 30 minutes long and features three countries that were chosen by each family as to their ‘dream destination to live abroad’. “Live Here, Buy This” will be a great show that will show viewers what it’s like to live in Costa Rica. I view the show as a cross between House Hunters International and the Travel Channel!

There will be interviews with ex-pats and Ticos alike talking about what they love about living in Costa Rica. Some beautiful condos and homes at the beach will be shown ranging in price from $300,000 to $1.6 Million.

A special thanks to Recommended Realtor Scott Cutter in Manuel Antonio who put together the two wonderful homes features in that area. Be sure to tune in this Fall!
